Raul R. Ramirez, 78, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2017 at his home in Odessa, Texas.
Viewing will be held Tuesday at his home on 803 E Jeter in Odessa, Texas with Rosary at 7 p.m.
Mass will be held at 2pm Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with
Father Isidore officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Los Angeles Garden.
Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.
Raul was born on March 3, 1938 in Terlingua, Texas to Reynaldo Ramirez and Francisca Rodriguez.
He married Asencion Munoz in Odessa, Texas. He worked as a landscaper. He loved the
Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Raul is preceded in death by his parents, two sons and the love of his life, Asencion Ramirez.
Raul is survived by one son, Jose R. Ramirez and wife Debbie, four daughters, Juanita Hernandez,
Mary Ann Ramirez, Dora Hernandez and husband Armando, Yolanda Ramirez and husband Eddie,
two brothers, two sisters, twenty-six grandchildren and forty-two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Joel Navarro, Armando Hernandez Jr., A.J. Gamez, Manuel Ramirez Jr.
Beto Olivas, Daniel Hernandez, Stephen Ramirez, George Luis Ramirez, Adrian Hernandez, Elian Acosta, Jacob Gamez.
