Raul Tavarez Gonzales

Raul T. Gonzales of Odessa, Texas passed away February 18, 2025 in Odessa, Texas.

Raul T. Gonzales was born in Odessa, Texas to Francisco A. Gonzales and Isidora T. Gonzales on August 21, 1960. He graduated from Ector High School. He worked as a machinist for Precision Flow for 24 years. He was involved in a few Car Clubs such as Taste of Latin and New Vision.

Raul T. Gonzales was preceded in death by his Parents: Francisco A. Gonzales and Isidora T. Gonzales, Sisters: Velia Gonzales Reyes, Maria Linda Herrera and Brother: Reimundo T. Gonzales.

Raul is survived by his Children: Amy LeAnn Minjarez, Melaine Lyn Gonzales, Raul Gonzales Jr., Brothers: Sipriano Gonzales, David Gonzales, Oscar Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales, 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday February 24, 2025 from 1PM -9PM at Martinez Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7PM. Mass will be held at 2PM Tuesday February 25, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Pallbearers: Kaia Minjarez, Arnulfo “AJ” Juarez, Matthew Rodriguez, Lucas Garcia, Christopher Garcia, Jayden Juarez, Caine Cunningham and Ponch Olivas.

Memorials may be given to The Gonzales Family, and we would like to thank St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Staff, Martinez Funeral Home Staff and Family & Friends who have reached out.
