Ray Rubio

Ray Rubio, 50, passed away suddenly Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Ray Rubio was born on September 13, 1972, in El Paso, Texas, to Petra† and Rogelio Rubio Sr†. Ray was a Christian believer and had worked for Republic Oil Company for ten years. Ray was the sweetest person with the biggest heart, a devoted family man and a man of God. Ray was always caring for others and lending out a helping hand. Ray loved life, spending time with his dogs, eating good sweets, and cruising in his Corvette. All those who knew Ray loved him and will always remember the positivity he radiated. We will miss you Ray and always remember how much we love you.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Rose.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife Julia, stepchildren, sister Lori, brothers Roger and Robert, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation is set for Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 1pm-9pm at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory located at 1030 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, Texas, 79761.

Funeral services are set for 10am Wednesday, September 6, 2023, also at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Cliff DeArmond officiating.

Cremation will be at a later date.
