Rene Ramirez

Rene A. Ramirez,61, of Fort Stockton Texas, was embraced by our Heavenly father on December 3, 2017, in Odessa Texas. Rene was born on August 23, 1956 to Benito Ramirez and Eva Arcides in Fort Stockton Texas. He worked for Pizza hut for a long while and he also worked at the cotton gin.
Rene grew up in Fort Stockton. He married Manuela Herrera and had four children. Rene loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed reading.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his wife: Manuela Herrera, daughters: Gabriela Dunn, Lydia H. Cordero ( Jessie ) and Paula Hunter(Darrian),son: Eric Dunn(Evelyn), sister: Esmeralda Murillo(Ray): Half-brother: Ray Ramirez, Half-sister: Emma Ramirez, Grandchildren: Sierra Dunn, Derrick Martinez, Naveah Garcia, Devon Dunn, Avah Rose Cordero, Thaddeus Cordero, Everett Cordero, Rene Ramirez, Alina Hunter, and Michael Martin, great grandchild: Nehemiah Alvarado.
Rene is preceded in death by: Benito Ramirez and Eva Arcides Ramirez, Brother: Benito Ramirez Jr.,
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Rosary will be at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, December 8,2017 at 1:00 pm. Final resting place will be held privately.
Services are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
