Robert Baskett

Robert Eugene (Bob) Baskett, 72 years old of Gardendale, Texas passed away on July 6, 2017 in Gardendale, Texas at his home.

A memorial for his Cremation service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home of Odessa, Texas.

Bob was born in Clayton, New Mexico to Emery and Beatrice Baskett on October 12, 1944. He went to Floyd High School in Floyd New Mexico and graduated from there in 1961.
He married Shirley Ruth Roy August 26, 1969. He worked as a tool-pusher for A. W. Thompson Drilling which became (changed names) to Santa Fe Drilling company
for 20 plus years until he retired in 1983 from there. He then became a full-time farmer. He loved to garden and farm. He was a veteran of Vietnam war and served
in the Navy from 1964 to 1966.
Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley Ruth. She passed on to heaven July 30, 2006 and his parents Emery and Beatrice Baskett.
Bob is survived by his only daughter Trinna Adams her husband Shawn Adams, Robert Baskett (son), Stormy Baskett (son), Bill Woods (son).
His only sister Earlena Miller-her husband Loren Miller, brother Lebert Baskett and his wife Louise, Jerry Baskett and his wife Dean, Henry Baskett and Virgil Baskett.
