Robert Flores

Robert "Bobby" Flores, 47, of Kyle Texas, formerly of Odessa Texas and Portales New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday , March 14, 2018, in Round Rock, Texas.
Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00pm until 9:00pm Saturday, March 17, 2018 and Sunday, March 18, 2018 with a Prayer Service at 7pm
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Monday, March 19, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Ernest Florez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II Garden . Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Bobby was born in Odessa to Margaret and Manuel Flores on May 10, 1970. He attended Gale Pond Alamo Elementary, Bonham Jr High School and Permian High School. He worked at Manuel's Body Shop for numerous years before opening his own paint and body shop in Portales New Mexico.
He loves painting cars. He loved going to all types of car shows. He loved racing our 1957 Chevy. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, cooking out, anything with family. He coached soccer and baseball. He loved listening to all types of music, Led Zeppelin being his favorite rock group, Emilio, Michael Salgado, Bobby Pulido and Stephanie being his favorite Tejano groups. He attended The Connection Church in Buda, where he helped with the children. He always told people that if God could forgive him that God would forgive them and that God loved them no matter what. He loved preaching the word of God to as many people as he could reach.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Galindo Flores, grandparents, Tomasa and Charles Flores and Dominga and Geronimo Munguia; uncles, Carlos Flores, Joe Flores and Richard Munguia; aunts, Lupe Barreraz and Kathy Munguia.
Bobby is survived by his wife of twenty years, Hilda Aldaz Flores, children, Lorina Flores (Chase), Robert Flores Jr, Christopher Flores (Rika), Isaiah Rodriguez, Michael Castillo (Yaritza), Samuel Flores and Nicolas Flores; sisters, Tina Flores-Tobar (Vicente) and Jackie Florez (Ernest); brothers, Eric Flores (Megan) and David Miranda(Teresa); mother, Margaret Flores; ten grandchildren, Breeha Botello, Sophia Granados, Raiden Botello, Carlos Gutierrez, Alysia Flores, Aiden Flores, Soriah Flores, Xavier Flores, Josiah Flores, Bryan Castillo, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews
Pallbearers will be Robert Flores Jr, Christopher Flores, Isaiah Rodriguez, Michael Castillo, David Miranda, Vicente Tobar and Chase Botello. Honorary pallbearers will be Mario Diaz, Harvey Diaz and Frank Fierro.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dell Seton University Medical Hospital in Austin and Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock.
