Robert Duran, 58, passed away on October 7, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating.
Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory under
the direction of Funeral Directors Tony Lujan & Nancy Olvera
Robert, "Beaver" as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was born in El Paso, Texas to Benedicto and Sofia Duran on February 21, 1957.
He lived most of his life in Odessa, Texas and attended school in Odessa graduating from Ector High School in 1975.
He was a member of the Odessa Police Department for 25 years and retired in 2008.
He later worked for the District Attorney's Office in Odessa, Texas as an investigator.
Robert is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sofia Duran. He is survived by his father,
Benedicto Duran; three brothers, Benny Duran and wife, Mary Duran; Arturo Duran and Henry Duran; two sisters,
Daisy Reyes and husband, Leo Reyes; and his youngest sister, Lorie Duran; numerous nephews and nieces and
numerous great- nephews and great-nieces, and many friends, both personal and professional.

Pallbearer will be Henry Duran.
