Rodolfo Herrera Serrano

Rodolfo Serrano, 81, of Odessa Texas passed away on February 26, 2025 in Odessa, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones.

Rodolfo was born in Corral De Alambre Chih. To Santiago Serrano and Roberta Herrera on November 2, 1943. He married Romana Lopez on November 23, 1964 in Porvenir, Mexico. He worked at Holloman for many years. He was an active member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church serving as an usher for many years, he was a cursillista a very strong man of faith. 

Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Roberta Serrano and five siblings. 

Rodolfo is survived by his wife of 60 years Romana Serrano, Daughters Ida Jimenez (Mario Jimenez), Liliana Hinojos and husband Edwardo Hinojos, Deborah Campuzano and husband Daniel Campuzano, and son Rodolpho Serrano II, and wife Michelle Serrano, 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Saturday March 1, 2025 and Sunday March 2, 2025 from 1:00PM - 9:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM for both days. Mass will be held at 10:00AM Monday March 3, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 

Pallbearers will be Steven Jimenez, Aaron Serrano, Anthony Serrano, Andrew Serrano, Joel Castillo, and Adrian Holguin.
