Rogelio Gonzales

Rogelio “Juan Rey” Lujan, 66, of Odessa, Texas tragically left this earth Monday, June 7, 2021.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Home – Outside Chapel.  Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 14, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating.  Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II Section.

Rogelio was born to Jesus Lujan and Antonia Rodriguez on April 13, 1955, in Las Morras De Lazaro Ramos, Mexico.  He attended school in Mexico and on December 29, 1979, he married Ms. Josefina Serrata Gonzales in Camargo Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked for a local trucking company as an operator.  Rogelio enjoyed gambling, scratch off lottery tickets and spending time with family, always creating new memories.  He will be missed intensely!

Rogelio is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Antonia Lujan; six brothers, Juan Lujan, Fabian Lujan, Ambrosio Lujan, Toribio Lujan, Rogelio Lujan, Victorio Lujan; four sisters, Anjelita Lujan, Altagracia Lujan, Dominga Lujan, Maria Lujan

Rogelio is survived by his wife, Josefina Gonzales; one son, Jesus Lujan and wife, Karime; two daughters, Chefi Juarez and husband, Pedro, and Carmen Lujan; sister, Leonila Lujan; seven grandchildren, Everardo Vazquez, Keira Lujan, Adrian Lujan, Aylin Juarez, Yasani Vazquez, Alondra Juarez, and Almendra Juarez; many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are as follows; Jesus Lujan, Everardo Vazquez, Jesus Baeza, Adrian Sanchez, Sergio Chavez, Sergio Moya, Ricardo Pina, and Alfredo Roman.
