Romeo Garza

Romeo Alba Garza ,55, of Odessa passed away Monday February 22nd 2016 in Odessa Texas. The memorial service will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Word of God Ministries . Funeral services will be held Monday February 29th 2016 at 10 a.m. at Martinez Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy A. Garza. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.



Romeo Alba Garza was born in MCamey Texas to Tomas Munoz Garza and Biatriz Alba Garza on September 3rd 1960. He went to school in Odessa Texas where he graduated with an associates degree from Odessa College. While in college, he was also known by the DJ name "Rock'N'Rome". His life revolved around his family so much so that when his father passed he sacrificed his independence to move in and care for his mother. Romeo was the most genuine kind hearted man that would apply God's Word and God's love in his every day trials resulting in him being a living testimony to many. The endless stories of his amazing character cannot be limited into words. The happiness he shared with others came from his kindness, humor, and wisdom. His belief in God made it possible to overcome every obstacle he had in his life. In Romeo's vocabulary there was no such thing as a disability. He and his great faith in God will be missed.



Romeo Garza is preceded in death by Tomas Munoz Garza, Beatriz Alba Garza, Valdemar A. Garza, and Louis A. Garza.



Romeo Garza is survived by his son Romeo B Garza and daughter-n-law Erica Garza. His brothers are Joe A.Garza and Reverend Tommy A. Garza and sisters Susie A. Garza, Delores A. Martinez, Rosa White, Margarita G. Gomez, and Ruth A. Garza. Grandchildren are Romeo Alex Garza, Jonathan Garza, Nathaniel Garza, and Abagail Garza.



Pallbearers will be Mario Lopez, Romeo Alex Garza, Jonathan Garza, Joel Coronado, Ruben Ochoa, Len Martinez, Val Garza Jr, and Louis Garza Jr. On behalf of the Garza family we would like to extend a word of thanks to Martinez Funeral Home for making the process in this difficult situation as easy as possible and also to Pastor Gabriel Chavez and the Word of God ministries.
