Rosa Arroyo

Rosa Maria Arroyo, of Odessa was called home on July 20, 2016 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be held 4pm to 9pm Sunday, July 24, 2016 and 10am -9pm Monday, July 25, 2016 with Rosary held at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass will be held at 2pm Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Gilberto Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Peaceful Garden. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Rosa Maria Arroyo, loving wife, mother and grandmother, was called home on July 20, 2016. Nana as she was affectionately called, was born on July 15, 1942 in Santa Maria de Cuevas, Chihuahua. She married Fidencio Arroyo in 1965.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Ramon "Ray" Arroyo, Clara Isela Arroyo, Beatriz "Betty" Arroyo, Enrique "Henry" Arroyo, Norma Zapata, Rebecca "Becky" Arroyo and her 17 beloved grandchildren. She is now able to join those who await her in heaven, her husband Fidencio "Lencho" Arroyo, mother Maria de la Paz Lerma, grandmother Maria Lerma and stepbrothers Leonor Lerma, Jose de la Paz Lerma and Natividad Lerma. Even though she will be greatly missed we take comfort knowing she is now in God's hands.
