Rosa Lopez

Rosalinda Lopez of Marfa, TX , passed away to be with our Lord on November 20, 2024 in Odessa, TX. 

Visitation will be 4pm to 9pm on November 25, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, 11.26.24at Martinez Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Hagger of Mount Olive Renaissance Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. 

Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home and reception following at Elegante Hotel in Odessa. 

Rosalinda Lopez was born in Marfa, TX to Marcus Luna and Olivia Campos. She went to school in Odessa and graduated from Ector High School. She worked in Maintenance for SSI in Odessa for 7 years from which she retired. Rosalinda loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She loved all types of music, and she was Selena's (famous Tejano singer) number one fan. 

Rosalinda is preceded in death by her parents Marcus and Olivia Luna. Her son, Gabriel Lopez. Rosalinda is survived by her husband Gregorio Lopez, her daughter Sonia Lopez and her son Greg Lopez. Sisters, Joann Luna and Norma Luna. Her grandkids: Demi Franco, Dana Franco, Ivan Lopez, Aidan DelBosque, and Rianna Lopez. Great grandkids: Aaliyah Franco, Olivia Hornsby, Matthew Barrientes, Aven Hornsby, and Ayva Barrientes. 

Pallbearers will be: Orlando Franco, Aidan DelBosque, Jeff Lofton, Pablo Avila, Michael Hornsby, and Ivan Lopez. Memorials may be given to Martinez Funeral Home. The family of Rosalinda Lopez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the kind staff at Medical Center Hospital, Angel's Care Hospice, and Pastor and brother Chris Hagger.
