Ruben Anthony Wood RubyRub 32, of Odessa, passed away on September 4, 2014 in Odessa, TX.
Visitation was held yesterday September 9, 2014 from 1:00 PM till 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Home.
A rosary was held on September 9, 2014 at 7:00 PM. Church services will be held on Wednesday September 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM at St Josephs Catholic Church. With Father Isadore officiating the service.
Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens in Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Ruben Anthony Wood was born in Odessa, Texas to Elvira Morales and Edward Wood on September 15, 1981. Ruben was a free spirit and a very caring gold hearted young man, an entertainer by heart, a dreamer and true believer in Jesus.
He was a pipefitter for the petroleum industry and had a goal to obtain his CDL certification for semitrucks.
Ruben is preceded in death by his father Edward Wood and cousin Jonathan Chucky Morales.
Ruben is survived by his mother Elvira Morales, sons Jordan Anthony and Emilio Miguel Wood, Brother David Wood, sisters Yvonne and Elizabeth Wood, Michelle and Vanessa Cardona.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Morales, Izayah Wood, David Wood, Rogelio Cardona, Tony Morales and Alex Santamaria.
