Samuel Aguirre Munoz, 93 of Odessa, passed away on January 6, 2016 in Odessa, Texas.
Prayer service will be held at 4pm Saturday, January 9, 2016 and a Rosary will be held at 6pm Sunday, January 10, 2016 at
Martinez Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held 9am -9pm Saturday, January 9th and 12pm -9pm
Sunday, January 10th at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday, January 11, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Peaceful Garden. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home
under the direction of Funeral Directors Tony Lujan & Nancy Olvera.
Samuel was born in El Chapo, Municipio de Ojinaga, Chihuahua on July 16, 1922 to Toribio Aguirre and Cesarea Munoz.
He married Andrea Ponce on May 2, 1945 in Ojinaga, Chihuhua. He was a rancher, a hard worker and a loving dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, two daughters Josefina Carrasco and Celia Aguirre, five brothers and two sisters.
Samuel is survived by his wife Andrea Aguirre, children - Edelmira Aguirre, Samuel Aguirre,
Emma Muniz, Octavio Aguirre, Silvia Cano, Yolanda Saenz, Lucina Aguirre, Martha Aguirre,
Rigo Aguirre, Omar Aguirre, Javier Aguirre, 46 grandchildren,
79 great - grandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren.
