Santiago (Jimmy) Carrasco Sr. of Odessa, passed away on December 10, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.
Rosary will be held at 7pm Friday, December 11, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Saturday, December 12, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Isidore officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Peaceful Garden. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
under the direction of Funeral Directors Tony Lujan & Nancy Olvera.
Jimmy Carrasco Sr. was born in Redford, Texas to Valentin and Refugia Carrasco.
He graduated from Presidio High. Jimmy married Eva Acosta in 1961.
He is preceded in death by his father Valentin Carrasco, mother Refugia (Cuca) Carrasco, sister Emma Carrasco and brother Luis Carrasco.
Jimmy is survived by his brothers, Lino Carrasco, Samuel Carrasco and Valentin Carrasco, sisters Carmen Carrasco Conners,
Flora Carrasco, Lucia Carrasco Jimenez, Elida Carrasco Lujan, his children - Rosa Carrasco Morales, Zulema Carrasco Bassham,
Jimmy Carrasco Jr., Maricela Carrasco Garcia, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons - Josh Carrasco, Roman Carrasco, Justin Dutchover, James Olmos, Jessie Olmos, Dylan Bassham,
Valentine Bassham, and Scotty Morales.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association. The family of Jimmy Carrasco wishes to extend our
sincere thanks to all the nurses and doctors who helped ese his pain, to all the family and friends for all their support, love and kindness showed.
