Shirley Rogers Jones

Shirley Rogers Jones age 73, passed away on October 13, 2023 in Odessa Texas. 

Visitation for Miss Shirley Rogers Jones will be on October 26, 2023 at Martinez Funeral Home from 4PM to 9PM. Celebration Of Life for Shirley will be 1PM Friday October 27, 2023 at King Solomon Baptist church with Bishop G.T Garnett II officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Shirley was born in our Arcola, Mississippi to Harry and Surfonia Moore on June 29, 1950. Shirley was raised in Arkansas, the family later settled in West Texas and Shirley graduated from Ector high school.

Shirley is proceeded in death by Parents Harry and Surfonia Moore, her husband, Mr. John D Jones and 6 Brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Taranne Rogers Armendariz, grandchildren Irashel Rogers and Comisha Armendariz, sisters Earnestin Bradford (Wade), her beloved nephews and niece Raymond McDavid, Robert Vaughns, Surfonia Evans and numerous nieces and newphws and host of special family friends.
