Sofia Balerio Silva was born in Nixon, TX. to Pedro Balerio and Maria Olibarez on March 10, 1921. She attended school in Nixon, TX. She married Luciano Silva in Stanton, TX.
Sofia Balerio Silva is preceded in death by Pedro Balerio and Maria Olibarez, parents; Manual Balerio, brother; Nieves Balerio, brother; Jesusa Morales, sister; Olga Gonzales, sister; and Lindsey Morales, great granddaughter.
Sofia Balerio Silva is survived by: son, Elias Morales and Mary of Odessa, TX; son, Robert Silva and Teresa of Odessa, TX; daughter, Valentina Ohlson and Gary of Puyallup, WA; son, Eliseo Silva of Chantilly, VA; sister, Francis Garcia of Rotan, TX; grandchildren: Jesse Morales and Helen of Springtown, TX; Elias Morales, Jr of Odessa, TX; Noe Morales and Susan of Odessa, TX; Rebecca Silva of McKinney, TX; Edith Silva of Lubbock, TX; Annette Gonzales and Frank of Greenwood, TX; Adam Silva of Odessa, TX; Chris Silva of Marfa, TX; Rihanna Ohlson and Sofia Ohlson of Puyallup, WA; great grandchildren: Melissa Martinez, Megan Morales Cummings, Crystal Morales, Joshua Morales, Brytton Bennett, Victoria Silva, Madison Gonzales, Madeline Gonzales, Elianna Silva-Mireles; and great great grandchild Cailyn Martinez.
Visitation will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 8, 2017 and 9AM-9PM Monday, October 9, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Home with Cano Gonzales officiating. Burial will be at 2pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton, TX
