Sylvestre N. Zubiate

Sylvestre Zubiate was born Cuchillo Parado to Maximillion Zubiate and Modesta Navarrette. He married Beatriz Baeza Zubiate on October 5, 1951 in Cuchillo Parado. He worked as a Union Worker for Laborer’s International Union of North America for 50 years. Sylvestre loved being around people, enjoyed being at the lake house in Brownwood and cruising in his Dallas Cowboys golf cart. Favorite food he enjoyed eating: Wings and tostadas and favorite drink Orange Fanta. Sly was a great father and grandfather to everyone, he will be deeply missed and left a huge hole in all of us. We will forever cherish all the memories we had made with him.

Sylvestre Zubiate is survived by spouse, Beatriz Baeza Zubiate. Children: Albert Lee Zubiate spouse Chriselda Zubiate; Alvaro Zubiate spouse Gracia Zubiate; Modesta Ramirez spouse Jesus Ramirez. 

Grandchildren: Ryan Lee Zubiate, spouse Kayleen Zubiate; Christian Zubiate spouse Marilyn Zubiate, Josh Vermeulen spouse Jessica Vermeulen, Elias Zubiate spouse Desiree Zubiate, Josue Zubiate spouse Jessica Zubiate, Pamela Kincheloe spouse Stephen Kincheloe Nancy Ramirez spouse Roy Ramirez, Elizabeth Ramirz spouse Cruz Baeza, Jaqueline Ramirez, Jesus Elias Ramirez spouse Laura Ramez, Vanessa Madrid spouse Rigo Madrid.

Visitation will be held Monday July 29, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home from 1PM - 9PM with a Prayer Service at 7PM. Church Service will be held at 10AM Tuesday July 30, 2024 at Temple Buenas Nuevas.
