Mrs. Tennie B. Brown Rand, 104, of Odessa, passed away on January 20 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home.
under the direction of Funeral Directors Tony Lujan & Nancy Olvera
Funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at
St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel L. Buhl officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Rosehill Garden.
Mrs. Tennie B. Brown Rand was born on July 29, 1911 in Lott, Texas to the parents of
Jesse Brown and Polly O'Neal Brown, one of eight children.
She married R. B. Rand October 12, 1929. Out of that marriage, they had 6 children.
They had five sons, Robert, Dock, Cecil, Jesse & James, one daughter Louie D. Rand Hudson.
Mrs. Rand had a long beautiful life.
She passed away on January 20, 2016 at the age of 104 ½ in Seabury Nursing Home.
Mrs. Rand was faithful in her church and service to the Lord. Mrs. Rand was a seamstress for many years,
she also worked for Ledges Drapery for six years before retiring.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Robert Rand and family, Jesse and Glodine Rand and family,
Eula F. Rand and family, Louie D Rand Hudson and family, Riley and Celestine and family,
Henry Rand and family, Dorothy Moore and family, Ruth E Rheams and family and a host of relatives and friends.
