Venus Villa Madrid gained her wings on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the age of 76. She was born on April 13, 1945 to Apolonio Villa and Cruz Ybarra. She was preceded in death by her mom, Cruz Ybarra, her dad, Apolonio Villa, her sisters, Elida Garza, Irma Garza, Evodia Rodriguez and Corinna Rodriguez, her daughter, Sarah Madrid, her grandsons, Tito Vasquez Jr and Brian Esparza and her granddaughter Kimberly Vasquez.
Venus loved her Dallas Cowboys, especially when Tony Romo was quarterback. She loved our gettogethers on Fridays and Sundays when we would play Mexican Train. She loved going to the movies, shopping and taking trips out of town (near and far). Our beloved Queen will be missed very much!
She is survived by her beloved husband, Jesus Ismael Madrid of 61 years, her daughters, Rose (Tito) Vasquez, Anna (Emiliano) Villa, Maria (Frank Minjarez) Madrid, and her son Jesus Manuel (Carrie) Madrid, her brothers, Joel (Rachel) Rodriguez and Mark (Monica) Rodriguez, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Pall Bearers are Emiliano Villa Jr, Frankie Minjarez, Jesse Madriid Jr, Anthony Madrid, Alex Alcantar, Aaron Torres, Jeremy Hill and Xavier Espericueta.
Viewing will be at Martinez Funeral Home from 9am-9pm and Rosary is at 7pm on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Services will be at St Josephs Catholic Church at 2pm, Friday, July 30, 2021.
