Veronica "Vippy" Fino, 52, of Odessa, was called to our Heavenly Father Sunday June 17th in the presence of her supporting family and friends.
She was born July 18, 1965 to Olga and Humberto Pena in Fort Stockton, TX. She was a loving mother who did everything in her power to ensure her
two girls were taken care of. They each blessed her with a grandson whom she loved unconditionally, and she referred to them as her tesoros (little treasures).
She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and co-worker. She had a special bond with every with every single person she came into contact with.
She was a very loving and caring woman that will never be forgotten. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends reminiscing about old times.
She enjoyed listening to all genres of music and knew every word to every song that she sang. She collected Betty Boop memorabilia and you would
never see her without her Dr. Pepper. She was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and you had better not say anything bad about them in front of her.
She was a proud patriotic supporter for all who are serving and all who served our country, especially her brother and her late father. The love she shared
was unconditional and the hugs she gave were very heartwarming. Her smile would light up the room and her presence was comforting. She was a very giving person
and would give all she had. After leaving this world she gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.
She's preceded in death by her father Humberto R. Pena, maternal grandparents Elisandro (Nano) and Agapita (Nana) Chalambaga, paternal grandparents
Carlos (Welo) and Genoveva (Wela) Pena.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her oldest daughter Valerie Fino, spouse Randy Hernandez, grandson Bently Hernandez, youngest daughter
Tiffany Fino, grandson Jayden Garza, half-brother Abel Paul Fino Jr., loving mother Olga C. Pena, sister Cindy Chapa, spouse Joe Chapa and family, sister Eva Segovia and family,
brother SFC Carlos E. Pena USARMY (RET), fiancé Linda Patino and family, sister Christina Gutierrez, spouse David Gutierrez and family, numerous nieces and nephews,
as well as great nieces and nephews including extended nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.
