Vicente Marin

Vicente J. Marin of Odessa, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in Andrews, Texas.

Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2018 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
with a prayer service Sunday at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Natividad.

Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Home with Rev. Elias J. Marin and Rev. David Natividad, officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery - Los Angeles Section.

Vicente was born in Coahoma, Texas to Jose and Maximina J. Marin on October 27, 1928. He married Merced Tavarez Marin on December 20, 1947 in Grandfalls, Texas.
He worked for ECISD for 20 years in the maintenance department. Vicente was a music director for many years at Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel in Midland, Texas and at
La Primera Iglesia Bautista in Odessa, Texas.

Vicente is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maximina J. Marin, his wife Merced Tavarez Marin his brothers, Moises J. Marin, Isabel J. Marin, Oved J. Marin,
David J. Marin and his sister Esther Marin-Orosco.

He is survived by his children, Saul Marin, Delma Marin, and Adelina Marin all of Odessa. Jose A. Marin from San Angelo and Rosa Elia Gonzalez of Midland. His brothers,
Elias J. Marin of Odessa, Daniel J. Marin of Las Vegas and Joel J. Marin of Midland. His sisters Pauline Enriquez, Gloria Rodriguez, Maria Hernandez and
Eva Rubio of Midland and Lydia Natividad of Menard, TX.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Adrian A. Romero, Fernando Marin, David Jacquez, Noe Zorro Gonzalez and his great grandsons, Adrian Villalon and Eric Romero.
