Vicente T. Veliz, 69, passed away March 20, 2014 in Odessa, Texas. He was born January 23, 1945 in La Paz De Mexico, Chihuahua. Service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. A viewing will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a rosary reciting at 7:00 PM. Interment will follow to Ector County Cemetery.
Survivors include wife Elodia Veliz, sons Cruz Veliz, Luis Veliz, Jesus Veliz, Vicente Veliz Jr., Wilfredo Veliz, Javier Rodriguez and Jorge Rodriguez, daughters Yesenia Veliz and Maryann Ortiz.
Arrangements are under the direction of Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory of Odessa.
