Viola Pacheco Razo, passed away on 11/10/2024 in Odessa TX.

Visitation will be held Wednesday November 13, 2024 from 1:00PM - 9:00PM at Martinez Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas. Visitation will continue on Thursday November 14, 2024 from 11:00AM - 9:00PM at Alpine Memorial Funeral Home in Alpine, Texas with a Rosary at 7:00PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marfa TX on Friday November 15, 2024 at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Merced Cemetery in Marfa, Texas. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home in Odessa and Alpine Memorial Home in Alpine.

Viola Razo was born in Marfa, TX to Mariana Sotelo and Antonio Pacheco. Viola attended school in Marfa TX, including Blackwell. She married the love of her life, Johnny Razo on 06/02/1963 in Marfa TX, St. Mary’s Church. Viola and Johnny renewed their wedding vows on their 25th and on their 50th Anniversary at St. Mary’s Church. Viola was happiest taking care of her family. Viola called her children daily and no week would go by without her checking on her family. Viola was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marfa, although she spent the last three years of her life in Odessa her heart remained in Marfa.

Viola was preceded in death by her beloved husband Johnny Razo, parents, infant son John Anthony Razo I, Brothers Jose Sotelo, Chon Sotelo, her twin brother Tony Pacheco, and Son in law James Gilly.

Viola is survived by her daughters Yvonne Zubiate and Tony Manriquez of Shafter TX, Naomi Gilly of Odessa TX, Yolanda Gordon and Cliff of Odessa TX, Valerie Martinez and Ricardo of El Paso TX. Grandchildren John Anthony (Estrella- Kendra, Kiara), Luz Alma (Jesse), Yvette (Ale, Rodrigo, Juan, Emilio, Amaya), Aaron, Jasalyn (Jr.), Cencee, Faith, Clifford John, Vanessa (Caleb), Justice, and Martika”Kiki”. Sisters Lilian Garza, Yolanda Patton and Brother Alvaro Sotelo

Pallbearers will be John Anthony Razo, Clifford John “CJ” Gordon, Jessie Brito, Rodrigo Muniz, Juan Muniz, and Emilio Muniz.

Honorary pallbearers Aaron Razo, Tony Manriquez, Cliff Gordon, Ricardo Martinez, JR Catano, George Muniz, and Andrew Tijerina.

The Razo Family wishes to extend our sincere Thanks to Focus Nursing Home Staff, Heart to Heart Hospice, and everyone who sent prayers and love to our beautiful Momma!
