Virginia Hernandez

Virginia Brito Hernandez, 96, of Presidio, was reunited in Heaven with her loving Husband. Virginia was born on January 4, 1921 in Presidio Texas to Juan Brito and Antolina Uranga. Virginia was blessed with 11 Children and she was also blessed with several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Virginia was a devoted Catholic, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. Virginia loved to spend time with her family. Viginia loved to sew, she made beautiful quilts. She also loved gardening.
Those left to cherish her precious memories are: her sons: Oscar (Maria Elena) Hernandez, Salvador (Ninfa) Hernandez, Alfredo Hernandez, Samuel (Nelda) Hernandez, Jesus (Rosy) Hernandez, Gustavo ( Maria) Hernandez , Daughters: Irma Chavez, Romelia (Jesus) Quiroz, Rosa (Jesse) Hernandez, Leticia H. Ramirez. Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viginia is preceded in death by her Husband,: Salvador Hernandez,Parents: Juan and Antolina Brito, granddaughter: Carmen H. Fuentes, Great Grandaughter: Trinity Hernandez and son: Salvador Hernandez, and stepmother: Margarita Galindo.
Pallbearers will be Jose Alfredo Fuentes, Gerardo Chavez, Omar Hernandez, Steven Acosta, Sammy Hernandez, Ervey Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez and Daniel Hernandez.
Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Home on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9am to 9pm and on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 1pm to 9pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday, October 23,2017 at 1:00pm at Holy Redeemer, officiated by father Juan. She will be laid to rest at Rosehill cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home.
