Donice was born on May 8th, 1951 to parents John Robert Bailey and Wilda J Mahan. She married Edward Lee Thompson and they were happily married for 46 Years. She was a Beloved mother, spouse, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

Donice is preceded in death by her parents: John Robert Bailey and Wilda J (Mahan) Peitchinsky and Melvin “Foots” Thompson and Gracie Mae Thompson.

Donice is survived by Her Husband: Edward Lee Thompson, Children: Michele Donice and Albert Lopez, Lonny “Tommy” and Stefanie Pate, Shawneequa “Nikki” Whitehurst. Brother: Terry Robert Bailey. Sister: Desiree Peitchinsky. Grandchildren: Lili Michele Robles, Elizabeth Donice Lopez, Joshua Robert Lopez, Valerie Michelle Pate, Tommy Lee Pate, Kimberly Leann Pate, Alyson Marie Pate, Cori Cymone and Patrick Allan Tofte, Tatyana Rene Johnson, Jason Alexander Odom, Kennedy Grace Odom. Great grandchildren: Valentina Irene Taunton Lopez, Ashton Luis Lopez, Trevor Taron Johnson, Angelice Raquel Phillips and Hazel Reyna Pate, Casie Allan Tofte, Haiden Rose Tofte, Brooke Lynn Tofte. Niece: Samantha June Bailey. Nephews: Eric Williams and Gary Washington. Great Nephew: Jonathan Robert Bailey, Cousins: David Allen Coats and Tony Glen Coats.

We are not going to have a traditional service but a celebration of life at a future date, TBD due to her wishes to be cremated.
