Ysabel Matta

Ysabel Matta, 66, of Odessa, passed away on March 3, 2016 in Odessa.
Rosary will be at 7pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 10am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Ysabel was born in Pecos, TX to Santiago and Nicolasa Matta on May 1, 1949. She worked as a teacher's aide for both Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD and Ector County ISD for over 35 years. She was a devout Catholic.
Ysabel is preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Nicolasa Matta, brothers Rudy and Daniel Matta and sisters Emma Guzman and Elva Acosta.
She is survived by her son Edward Martinez and wife Terrie, daughter Sandra Martinez, granddaughter Kendra Martinez, great grandson Alexavier Lopez, one sister Alice Flores and husband Ray and her aunt Amelia Vallez and husband Manuel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
